IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE!
Each indicator is supplied with a precisely fitting plastic nut. This ensures secure and material-friendly fastening to the sensitive zinc thread of the housing.
Over-tightening is practically impossible, as the plastic nut slips in a controlled manner if the torque is too high – thus reliably protecting the thread.
If a metal nut is used instead, this is done at your own risk. In this case, a plastic or rubber washer should be installed between the nut and the housing to avoid pressure peaks. The maximum tightening torque for metal nuts is 1.0–1.5 Nm.
For a permanent connection, a medium-strength threadlocker (e.g., Loctite) can be applied sparingly to the thread if necessary. Please use only small amounts so as not to impair the zinc thread.
Tension-free, clean installation ensures a long service life and vibration-proof mounting of the turn signal.
